Privacy Policy · Terms of Use

Hopewall is a vision board where every picture is a goal. It works with no account, and your boards stay on your phone. Here is how to reach us, and how to do the things people ask about most.

Contact

Write to hello@luxxatlabs.dev. Say which phone and which version of Hopewall you use (Settings shows the version), and what you did before the problem showed. Please do not send photos of your boards or private information.

Delete your data

On your phone. Your boards, goals and photos are on your phone only. Delete a goal to remove its picture and steps. Delete Hopewall to remove everything it stored there. A copy may stay in a device backup or in a backup file you made, until you delete that too.

On our servers. Hopewall has no account and no “delete my data” button. We hold only a random id, your purchase record (if you bought Hopewall Plus) and your Suggestions board posts. To have them deleted, write to hello@luxxatlabs.dev. Tell us what you bought and when (and the order number from your store receipt, if you have it), and the title of any post you made. We cannot find a record without one of these details, because the app does not show the id. We delete it and answer within 30 days. The full list of what is removed, and what stays and for how long, is in the Privacy Policy.

Deleting your records with us does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play.

Restore a purchase

Open Settings and tap Restore purchases. Hopewall reads your App Store or Google Play account. It does not ask you to log in with us. It tells you if it found a purchase. On a new phone, use the same Apple or Google account that you used when you bought.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Open your subscriptions in the store. In the App Store: Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. In Google Play: the Play Store app, then your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Cancelling there stops the next renewal. If you are in the 7-day free trial, cancel before it ends to avoid the first payment (on iPhone, at least one day before). Hopewall has no weekly plan.

Move your boards to a new phone

In Settings, under Backup, tap Export to a file. Hopewall makes a .zip file with your boards, goals, steps and pictures, and you choose where to save it. On the new phone, install Hopewall, then tap Import a backup in Settings (or “Restore a backup” on the first screen) and pick the file. Importing adds boards and never replaces the ones that are there. Your phone’s own backup may also bring your boards back; on Android the pictures come only with a phone-to-phone transfer, and a missing picture can be replaced by tapping it.

Picture search

Search needs the internet. If it says search is unavailable or the daily limit is reached, try again later; your own photos still work. Pictures come from Pixabay and the photographer’s credit is shown. If a picture is not right for all ages, tell us at hello@luxxatlabs.dev and we will look at the search words that gave it.

Reminders and the widget

Settings has the daily nudge time and the step reminders, and a link to your phone’s notification settings if they are off. The Widget row in Settings shows how to add the Hopewall widget to your home screen.

The Suggestions board

Settings → Suggestions is the place to post an idea or a bug and to vote. Every person who uses the app can read it. Use Report or Hide on a post, or block its author. To ask us to remove a post, write to the address above.

Your data

Settings → Backup gives you the free backup file. Settings → Privacy has the Usage stats switch. Usage statistics are on from the first start, and the switch turns them off at any time. The Privacy Policy says what they hold.
